United Way Day of Caring

Over 12,000 people the Sapulpa area received services last year funded in part or all by the United Way. The United Way “Day of Caring” brings together volunteers who are committed to creating a positive change in their community. Volunteer teams, organized primarily by local companies, complete projects for local nonprofit agencies. Volunteers with the Sapulpa Public Schools and TD Williamson dedicated their “Day of Caring” to helping out at Caring Community Friends. Treasurer, Vickie Beyer served as Sapulpa’s 2016 United Way Campaign Chair. She told us, “Sapulpa is a generous and caring community. The last few years have been tough for Oklahoma’s economy, and our neighbors need help more than ever.”
