Extra! Extra! Retirement Announcement

Willie (Mary) Walters held the title “Executive Director of Caring Community Friends” for a quarter of a century. Walters served as the project manager for CCF’s expansion from a 900 sqft space to 4500 sqft, 501(c)(3) non-profit, Basic Needs agency. She has been instrumental in increasing CCF’s revenue through speaking engagements and fundraising. Over the years, Mrs. Walters developed and managed a multitude of programs to help families with basic needs. She assisted the Board of Directors with the leadership of the organization and collaborated with community partners to provide services for clients of all ages. Walters acted as the liaison between clients, staff, donors, volunteers, and the Sapulpa community. She implemented accountability requirements for clients, moving countless individuals and families towards self-sufficiency. As she moves towards retirement, Walters will remain on staff as CCF’s Senior Advisor until the end of September.
