Community Garden Plots
Community Garden Plots
Newly Available For Interested Gardeners
Nothing quite tastes as good as a home-grown tomato or fresh, crisp okra. Now, on a first-come, first-served basis, a choice of several different sized garden plots are available to area individuals and groups to produce their own fresh produce this year.
Eighteen mini-garden plots, ranging from 16 to 64 square feet will be available. Garden fees are based upon plot size, starting at $5 per season (February 1st to November 1st .) Scholarships are available. For that, you also have access to gardening articles – tools, water, buckets, hoses and gardening education as needed.
See them just west of the Caring Community Friends building at12 W. Burnham Ave. in Sapulpa. While you’re there, come in and fill out an application, or contact them online at www.CCFOK.org . Applications can also be made at the OSU Prevention Office at 404 E. Dewey in Sapulpa. Individuals, families and businesses are welcome to apply.
