25 Years of Service
The idea for Caring Community Friends was started in August 1992 by the Sapulpa Ministerial Alliance members after seeing the needs of local community members for assistance with food, rent, and utilities. The agency acted as their service headquarters. At that time, food was scarce and funds were meager.Through faithful contributions from Sunday School classes, Scout Troops, and caring individuals, CCF was able to keep the doors open and the vision alive. Today, Caring Community Friends is a thriving, multi-faceted agency providing dozens of on-going programs and services to neighbors in need. It’s hard to imagine CCF’s humble beginnings as volunteers working out of a modest house owned by the Presbyterian Church. Thanks to this firm foundation, CCF has grown into a 501c3 non-profit center (1999), a partner of the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, and a full United Way member (2007) agency.Peeking into the past helps to ensure a brighter tomorrow for generations.
